Housing After Reentry Work Session

On October 7th, 2021, the Washington State House of Representatives’ House Housing, Human Services & Veterans Committee met virtually to discuss to the topic of housing after reentry for those with criminal and arrest histories. The goal of the work session was to address the barriers that impacted individuals face in finding housing after being released.

Mr. Christopher Poulos of the Washington Statewide Reentry Council and members of the Housing Justice Coalition led the legislators through the issues that individuals with arrest and/or criminal histories face during the housing process in Washington.
